canberra times review by Megan Doherty

Hi everyone, a wonderful review by Megan Doherty of the Beneath the Surface exhibition that opened last night. An enormous crowd-over 400 through the door. A myriad of stories and conversations. Many thanks to Paul Chapman and Andrew Sikorski for their fantastic photography, Leanne from Silo-whose food is an art piece made every day, and of course Virginia H for her insightful, intelligent and kind words of support. We are indeed fortunate she was able to fit us into her busy life. The staff at M16-Emily, Ellen and Bettina have made the journey seamless and enjoyable. And of course all the friends who have supported us throughout this project we would like to say thankyou. It is an overwhelming task sometimes creating a series of work for exhibition and you spend a lot of time immersed in your own world and indeed on your own. Last night was a great celebration.
